Creating an interesting sport website calls for some research from your side. Research the different sports sites there already are to get their weak and strong points. To do this, it is better to use your favorite search engine to search for keywords or keyword phrases that you plan to use in your sports website. Upon getting the numerous sports sites corresponding to these keywords and keyword phrases, you have to note where they place their links in the website, the type of information they are providing and the testimonials side of the sports site. Concentrate on only the top fifteen or twenty websites indexed on the search engine of your choice. In the effort of avoiding high tech clutter, you may use many unnecessary words or phrases on the site. So if you have information on where to get these accessories and uniforms, you could place this information on the sports website. Quote prices of the accessories, and if you can, you could perhaps execute the orders placed by the visitors. You could help the visitor in buying the necessary equipment and accessories for their sports and games.

So if you are well-versed in almost all sports, you could include a FAQ page where most of the common questions and answers are listed. Include your contact information like your email address, contact telephone address and physical address in the sports website; it makes the visitor more comfortable with you and also renews their trust and confidence in you. There are many people out there who are also interested in learning the meanings of the various clauses and words involved in sports like the leg-bye and wide in cricket. And last but not least, offers of cricket and soccer clubs could be enlisted to let sports stars consider joining these clubs.
Whatever the content you do have in your sports website, make sure that the layout of the website is done in such a way that the visitor has easy navigating throughout the website. Try to push the content of your sports website as close together as possible as people like to skim through websites, only paying attention to headings and sub headings.
