Newsletters are periodical publications of particular interests that cater to the interests of different people. Publishing them is a routine process; however, making a unique newsletter needs some creativity, and effort on the part of the publisher.
The main part of the newsletter is the information that is provided in it. Matter for the newsletter cannot be obtained at a single sitting on the computer. What has to be done is to keep an idealist of potential articles for the newsletter. Once you get down to writing for the newsletter, you can choose amongst your ideas, for something to write upon that proves to be interesting and different.
|
Subscribing to other newsletters of similar fields, and reading them, helps you get an idea of what your competition is. You could then design a newsletter that turns out better than them. However, in this process, one should not steal content from the newsletter, unless permitted, as this is violation of copyright laws!

However unique you make your newsletter, readers actually appreciate a consistent format. Don’t try to change the format with the intention of being unique. Just create unique content for the consistent format of your newsletter. Writing a unique newsletter can become more of a reality if you write the newsletter in stages. Write for about fifteen minutes a week, four times a month to get that monthly newsletter. You can create better articles and refine the articles already written in that time span to get a unique newsletter. First, get a rough draft done with the final polish being done a day or two before sending the newsletter out. |
|
It is always wise to plan in advance on what exactly it is that you plan to include in your newsletter in the coming three months or so. This way, you can be mentally prepared to write matter accordingly, and thus in the process, create a unique newsletter. You could also consider asking your subscribers for contribution of content to the newsletter. You could arrange a sort of competition or just ask for actual contributions for inclusion to the newsletter. There are many readers out there who will relish the opportunity of helping out occasionally. Their ideas itself will provide the right matter to make your newsletter special!

And last, but not least, think of special or unique to include in the newsletter, other than what you usually offer in the newsletter. These matters need not be business related; just make it fresh, useful, interesting or relaxing. It could be useful or unusual Internet links, computer tips, summaries of hot news stories, jokes or reviews of new products. The choice is yours! Incorporating something new and snazzy in your newsletter will indeed make your newsletter unique, to stand out amongst other newsletters!
