1. To view PowerPoint web presentation, you do not need PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer.
2. You can easily update you presentation.
3. Your audience can download the latest version of your presentation without losing their disk space.
4. You can include any web links in your presentation. They will work seamlessly in HTML version.
5. PowerPoint web presentation is easy to make and requires no coding.

To make PowerPoint web presentation, you will first have to open your presentation. Then select “Save as Web Page” option in the File menu. PowerPoint will open the Save as Web Page dialog box. In the dialog box, use the “Save in” drop-down list to choose where you want to put your files. Give your page a title. PowerPoint suggests some titles, but if you are not satisfied with them, you can have a title of your choice. For this you have to click “Change Title” option and in the Set Page Title dialog box type a new title and click OK. Do not forget to name you file in the “File Name” text box.

The “Web Page Preview” option in the File menu allows you to see what your PowerPoint web presentation will look like before you convert it. If you are satisfied with its appearance then you can save it in HTML format by using the “Save as Web Page” option in the File menu. “Save as Web Page” option not only saves your presentation in HTML format, but also creates a folder to store-in all the graphics and animation accompanying the presentation. You will have to upload both the HTML file and the folder so as to ensure that the links work correctly.

To customize your PowerPoint web presentation, click the Publish button. The “Publish as Web Page” dialog box will open to offer several options. With the “Web Options” you can tell PowerPoint how to treat slide navigation, animation, graphics, files and file names, pictures and fonts. You can also select the browser, which you’d like PowerPoint to optimize your web page for. You can publish your entire presentation or just a few slides. Once you are satisfied with the settings, click Publish. PowerPoint will save your presentation with .htm file extension. The last step is to publish your PowerPoint web presentation online. For this you have to simply upload the .htm file and its accompanying folder in the same directory
